For Developers

• Distribute your language files quickly and easily to a community of translators.
• UTF-8 encoding is built in to avoid data corruption when exchanging files with translators. In other words, you won't see "?" instead of "Ç".
• When changes to your language files are made, just upload the new files and the system will find the changed or new values and add them to the database.
• At any point during the translation, you can download the translated files in a tar.gz.

For Translators

• Get credit for your work.
• No sifting through code to find which text to translate, all we show you is the text that needs to be translated.
• In the event revisions are made, Project Translator saves every edit.
• UTF-8 encoding is built in to the web application, so there's no need for you to install a special text editor that recognizes UTF-8 encoding.

Registration only requires a username and password.
